Flexible aluminum pipe is uninsulated and is the simplest type of flexible pipe. It is produced specifically for low and medium pressure air conditioning systems.
These channels are made of a layer of aluminum tape laminated with polyester in a spiral and wrapped with a spring and have a thickness between 25 microns and 50 microns, which itself acts as a thermal insulator.
In addition to resistance to indirect heat of 120 degrees Celsius, this layer has hygienic properties that are used, for example, in the coating of tablets and in pharmaceutical packaging.
